Loose whole peanuts can be dangerous for young birds, as they may choke on them. To keep birds safe, always offer peanuts in a mesh nut feeder rather than scattering them loose.

For best freshness and quality, store peanuts in an airtight container in a cool, dry place. The original packaging does not fully protect against moisture or humidity, which can lead to dampness and mould developing on the peanuts.
